I have worked as a therapist since 2019 after a nearly 30-year career in journalism. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in New York and Georgia, I find it a privilege to help people make meaning through understanding their self-stories, discovering how to deal with what is blocking meaningful change and by finding or rediscovering their values.
I bring energy, experience and, most importantly, empathy and understanding to this work.
I counsel individuals, couples, families and groups and have also been a supervisor of therapists in training at Mercer University. I am also a member of a member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).
I’m married and have two adult children. In my free time I enjoy reading, running and playing guitar.
